About Reka Gyulai
Reka Gyulai received her professional training at the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest, Hungary, where she was trained by prominent ballet figures including Imre Dozsa, Zoltan Solymosi, and Mark Diamond. Reka was a finalist at the International Ballet Competition in Vienna in 2004. In 2006, she received the prestigious Elvira Vecsei Prize and a Scholarship of the Republic from the Hungarian Ministry of Education.
Ms. Gyulai has performed with the Hungarian National Ballet, Columbia Classical Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, New Jersey Ballet Company, International Ballet Company, Dance Alive National Ballet in Florida, Ballet Collective San Diego, Ballet Counterpointe, Pointeworks, Grand American Ballet and California Ballet Company in San Diego. She toured extensively with these companies to Russia, Transylvania, Brazil, South France, Italy, Switzerland and throughout the United States. Her repertoire includes principal roles in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Wizard of Oz, Don Quixote, Walpurgis Night, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, The Phantom of the Opera, and others, as well as contemporary works by Adam Hougland, Edwaard Liang, Ashley Page, Marcello Angelini, Ma Cong, Kevin Jenkins, Jared Nelson, Holly Curran, Luc Louis de Lairesse, Ching Ching Wong, Garrett Smith and Septime Webre.
Reka is also an emerging choreographer and has set works for Ballet Collective San Diego, Grand American Ballet and Pointeworks.

Daniel Started his career in his home town of Biloxi, Mississippi at the Isle of Capri performing in ‘Burning Beat’, which then moved to Lake Charles, LA.
Wanting to explore the world he first headed to Las Vegas where he performed in “Folies Bergere”, “Dueling Pirate Stunt Show”, “EFX” with Rick Springfield, “Splash”, “Beacher’s Madhouse”, “Legends in Concert”, “STOMP” and “Shag with a twist” to name a few. He also choreographed shows with Irwin Productions for such names as Jimmy Buffet, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Philip Morris, Kraft foods, NACDS, Anheuser Busch, Coca-Cola, and USHER. He also choreographed musical galas for ‘Mama Mia’, ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ and ‘Tommy’.
Deciding he wanted to leave the confines of Vegas, he toured the globe with Holland America and Royal Caribbean with Emmy-award winning Anita Mann Prods. From there he headed to Japan touring with the ‘Tap Dogs’ in “Liberty on the Streets”, and then remained in Japan with; The Ocean Dome – “Caribbean Carnival”, Tokyo Disney Seas - “Mystic Rhythms”, and Universal Studios – “The Beetlejuice Show”.
Wanting to perform in different aspects of the arts, he pursued musical theater and went to New Zealand with “Chicago the Musical”, playing Harrison and understudying Amos. After a short trip off Broadway performing in “Journey to the West” he returned to Japan with ‘Wicked the Musical’ as Chistery.
Daniel now resides in Germany and has performed as Hip-hopper 3 (Cover Flat top), in “Starlight Express”, Mungo Jerry (Tumble Brutus) in “Cats – The Original Production”, ‘West Side Story’ as Riff at the Komische Oper Berlin, as well as taking on the role of stunt choreographer for the operetta ‘Clivia’. In Hamburg he opened the world premiere ‘Das Wunder von Bern’ as the ariel captain. After that he moved to Berlin to open the European premiere of Disney’s classic, ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’.
Wanting to explore more of the world, he moved to Switzerland to become the Resident choreographer/director of ‘Knie – das Circus Musical’. Enjoying Switzerland he stayed in Zurich and became a company dancer at the world renowned ‘Zurich Oper Haus’. Returning to Germany, he became the associate choreographer for a German classic film made into a musical, ‘Der Schuh des Manitu’.
