JR Blu is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. JR Blu has helped to shape the sound called "NEW OLD SCHOOL". Bright and energetic, this new artist and performer has combined a soulful, sultry sound with pulsating lyrics and driving melodies in his music. Often compared to some of the greats. JR BLU’S sophomore album showcased his mastery of his New Old School Sounds while upping the ante with the track “She’s Been Good” returning with the same pulsating melody but something even more. Recording at Willie Mitchell's Royal Studios in Memphis, TN, JR Blu, with the guidance of Grammy Award Winner Lawrence "Boo" Mitchell a sound like no other was created. The second hit single “If There’s Anybody Here” combines those same pulsating melodies but touches your soul with his old school voice.
